We are seeking sponsors for the 11th annual Harrisburg July 4th.

This year’s festivities begin on Tuesday, July 1st with our Miss July 4th Pageant to be held at Hickory Ridge High School.   Thursday, July 3rd, events move to Harrisburg Park with music, games and amusements; the day ends with a fantastic fireworks show.  July 4th, we begin the day with a extraordinary hometown parade down Highway 49.  The celebration continues in the park with a Battle of the Bands, all sorts of vendors, contests, amusements, quartets, Farm Games and the Mayor’s Annual Pro-Am Invitational Cow Milking Contest, a musical performances, one from our hometown favorite Deja Vu.  We will conclude our celebration with a spectacular fireworks show.

Our event is one of the largest and most well-attended in the region.  In ten years, attendance has grown more than tenfold, from 3,500 in 1998 to 50,000 in 2007.  Entrants in our parade have grown from 35 in 1997 to 200 subsequent years.
